APA Company Events

APA believes in fostering a strong sense of community and camaraderie among our team members. To achieve this, and strengthen our bonds, we recently held a delightful company get-together at Seasons 52 in Jacksonville, Florida with our awesome Florida PMS 525 Team. Everyone enjoyed a variety of mouthwatering dishes and irresistible desserts. We all had the opportunity to share some laughs, stories, and memories! Although this team is far from our HQ, events like this one are essential to our company culture. They offer an opportunity for our team to connect on a personal level, beyond the day-to-day work environment. Shout out to our Florida team as you are killing it in Florida!

APA was awarded the 2024 Washington Business Journal Best Places to Work for Mid-Size Company (25-49 employees), Tysons II Galeria, McLean, Va., – May 9th 2024, CEO and President, Terry Yarbrough accepting the award for APA placing fifteenth (15th) of the top twenty (20) mid-size companies. The 2024 Best Places to Work in Greater Washington honors the area’s leading employers that are known for recruiting and retaining the best and brightest employees. Companies are judged based on the results of an employee survey administered by Quantum Market Research. We thank everyone at APA for their hard work and efforts and team contribution for this award!

Every year, APA awards and recognizes individuals for their hard work. This year, the following individuals earned the following awards. Congratulations to all awardees!!

One of the best times of the year is APA’s annual holiday party. We love to decorate and have those special holiday treats. This year, a potluck was held for the local DMV folks where we got nice and full and enjoyed a White Elephant gift exchange. Since APA has several of its team members scattered across the nation, it is important that all can celebrate and participate in a company holiday party! To make this happen, APA was able to host a fun trivia event for all the remote folks!! There was some true competition and the team that won- The Ferocious Foxes!!! Happy Holidays!

APA enjoyed some “spooky” fun by having some treats available for those in the office and for the furry friends. Chloe the Witch took it home!

APA’s training team in Jacksonville, Florida participated in the celebration of the RSNF’s Saudi National Day. This celebration is held on the 23rd of each September to commemorate the unification of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by King Abdulaziz in 1932.

Some of APA’s veteran women (Nichelle M., Jean B., and Luzanne T.), spent the day in Richmond at the Virginia War Memorial for a day of celebrating women in the military. This event was to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, which allowed women to serve as permanent members of the military.

APA’s own Matt M., who is CPR certified, was able to host and lead a CPR training course for several others on the training team for them to obtain their CPR certifications. Thank you, Matt!!
